Do you sell our data?+
No. We never sell or rent your data, or your customers' data, and we do not use it to target ads.
Where is our data stored?+
Your CSignal data and visitor analytics are stored in the UK (London). Some processing happens outside the UK, mainly in the US, always under standard legal safeguards.
Is CSignal data first party or third party?+
It is your first-party data: your visitors, on your site, collected on your behalf. You are the controller and we are your processor.
Do we need a data processing agreement with you?+
It is already in place. Our Data Processing Agreement is part of every Charle agreement and applies whenever we handle your customers' data for you.
Do we need to update our own privacy policy?+
Only if you use CSignal Convert. The Convert policy gives you recommended wording you can copy, and your cookie banner should cover CSignal.
Can you complete our security questionnaire?+
Yes. Send it to hello@charle.co.uk. Our Security Overview answers the most common questions.
How do we get data exported or deleted?+
Email hello@charle.co.uk and we will take care of it. If one of your customers asks you to delete their data, pass the request on to us.
